NEW YORK -- There's one thing that Knicks fans and Jeremy Lin may disagree about.
Lin has become an instant fan favorite with his unbelievable play that has spurred the Knicks to eight wins in 10 games. But the point guard thinks his adoring supporters, and crowds around the league, are a little Linsane for booing Nets forward Kris Humphries, the New York Post reported.
The Garden crowd jeered Humphries consistently throughout the Nets' 100-92 win over the Knicks on Monday night. After the game, Humphries said he ran into Lin in the tunnel outside the locker room.
"He's a really nice guy," Humphries said of Lin on ESPN Radio. "He just said, 'Hey, I don't know why they boo you, but I think it's crap. You are playing really well, and stuff.
"That was nice of him to say. He's a really nice guy, competitor. It's nice to see great things happen for nice people."

More Photos » By HARVEY ARATON Just as reality intruded on Butler last month in Houston, it descended on the undermanned Knicks on Friday night at Madison Square Garden, neatly camouflaged in the 6-foot-1, 170-pound point guard persona of Rajon Rondo.
