Spring leaf collection is scheduled to start April 2 in District 1. The order of the Districts is 1 through 10. Not sure which district you live in? Simply check the Street Index on our website under the Recycling and Trash tab on the left side of the page or refer to the street index on the back pages of the 2012 municipal calendar.
The Township will perform two town-wide leaf collections, on April 2 and April 16. The last day to rake leaves to the curb for the Spring collections is Saturday, April 14, 2012. After that date, residents may bring leaves to the Recycling Center on West Main Street.
Please note that the Department of Environmental Protection has mandated regulations to ensure compliance with the Federal Clear Water Act, which protects our drinking water as well as our streams and rivers. These rules prohibit placing leaves:
